Remanufactured 3.7 L Dodge/Jeep SOHC V6 engine. This part number fits 2004-2006 Jeep Liberty, Grand Cherokee, Commander, Dodge Dakota, Durango, and Ram 1500 applications. Later style engine with NGC, 32 notches in crank sensor wheel and without EGR on cylinder head.
These engines are notorious for dropping valve seats. These seats break into small pieces and get stuck in the intake manifold. If you do not address this issue these pieces will recycle into the new engine causing it to fail. Tri Star highly recommends that you replace the intake manifold. If you are not able to replace it, the intake must be thoroughly cleaned.
