We are looking for a skilled engine assembler to assemble engine components into finished engines. You will ensure all parts fit correctly. You will use your hands and equipment to do the job with great precision. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Able to read instructions, manuals, drawings, schematics etc. Able to follow these instructions to assemble complex engines. The goal is to produce complex engine assemblies by installing components in the correct sequence and specification.

Responsibilities
- Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
- Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
- Use precision tools to measure and assist in the assembly of the engine using both power and manual tools.
- Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
- Ensure that engine components are aligned properly to ensure they are installed correctly and they have the correct fit.
- Ensure that all engine fasteners are tightened and torque to the correct value.
- Assemble engine to ensure it meets the highest quality.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Keep records of production measurements, quantities and time.
- Report issues, malfunction or defective components.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an assembler.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools ( Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Good understanding of quality control procedures.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
- Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours.
- Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs repeatability and 80 lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent, a technical degree is a plus.
